Google Analytics

Google Analytics is provided by Google. It uses cookies and similar browser technologies to collect information about use of this website.

Analytics information is primarily used in aggregate so that we can understand things such as how many people visit the website, which pages they use and which parts of the site lead people to contact us.

Google may process information collected through Google Analytics on our behalf in accordance with its own terms and privacy arrangements.

You can find more information about Google's privacy practices on Google's website.

Cookies

This website may use cookies associated with Google Analytics.

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. They can be used to recognise that the same browser has returned to a website and to help measure how the website is used.

We currently use analytics for statistical purposes, including understanding visitor numbers, page usage and interactions with the website.

Objecting to analytics

If you do not want this website to use Google Analytics in your browser, you can object to analytics tracking.

Booking a conversation

If you choose to book a free automation conversation, you will be taken to a Google booking page.

Information you provide through that booking process may include your name, email address, organisation, meeting details and any information you choose to provide about what you would like to discuss.

Google operates the booking service and may process information in accordance with its own privacy terms.

We use booking information to arrange the meeting, communicate with you about it, and understand the business problem you would like to discuss.

Information you send to us

If you contact DPS Consulting by email, through a booking form, or during a business conversation, we may retain the information you provide where reasonably necessary to:

  • respond to your enquiry;
  • arrange or conduct a meeting;
  • assess whether we can help;
  • prepare a proposal or discovery exercise; or
  • provide services where you subsequently become a client.

Information relating to an enquiry that does not lead to any further business relationship will not be retained indefinitely.

How we use personal information

Depending on the circumstances, we may use personal information where it is necessary for legitimate business purposes, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract, or where we are required to do so by law.

We do not sell personal information.

Who information may be shared with

We may use trusted service providers to operate parts of the website and our business. These may include providers of:

  • website hosting and infrastructure;
  • analytics;
  • email;
  • calendar and meeting booking services; and
  • other business systems used to manage enquiries or provide services.

Information is only shared where reasonably necessary for those services to operate or where we are otherwise required to disclose it by law.

International processing

Some technology providers we use operate internationally. This means information may sometimes be processed outside the United Kingdom.

Where this occurs, we expect service providers to use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers as required by applicable data-protection law.

How long we keep information

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legitimate business, contractual, accounting and legal requirements.

Analytics information is retained according to the retention settings configured within Google Analytics.
